Karen Skloss has been a working editor for documentary film in Austin for over five years (including works shown on PBS, HBO, and in the MoMA–most notably Atomic Ed & the Black Hole , directed by Ellen Spiro, and Be Here to Love Me, directed by Margaret Brown). Be Here to Love Me premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival this year and will be distributed this summer through Palm Pictures. Karen’s own works have been shown in festivals internationally, including The International Festival Rotterdam, the Emerging Filmmaker’s Showcase at Cannes, Women in the Director’s Chair, The Swiss-American Festival, and others. Her short film, Smitten, now distributed through Hart Sharp Video, can be rented in video stores across the country.
